The NAC group rate will be available until Friday, August 1, 2025. Please make sure all bookings have been made by that date.

*The website shows $159 rate + $22 of Destination Fee*. This fee will be waived for all the guests that book under the group block even though the website shows it.

After an incredible 40 years with Nashville Aquati

After an incredible 40 years with Nashville Aquatic Club, John Morse has retired as head coach of the team. He shares with the team: “NAC Families, Friends, and Alumni- When I arrived in Nashville in 1982, I was just out of college, new to coaching, and lived in the Caulkins’ family basement. When I unexpectedly took over as the head coach of the club in 1984, little did I know it would be a place where I would spend the next 40 years working with the vast group of athletes and families. You don’t spend 40 years without experiencing ups and downs - and we have had our shared both! At the end of the day, though, you don’t stay in the same place for 40 years without an incredible amount of support, care, an effort from families, volunteers, and the coaching staff. December 31 will mark my last day of head coach of the Nashville aquatic club. I will remain in Nashville, still coaching with the club, as Gweyn and I work to decide what life will bring us next. On behalf of the board, I’m excited to announce that Doug Wharam will be our new head coach beginning January 1. He will be the 5th head coach in NAC’s 50 year history. I’m excited for Doug and I’m confident he will continue to lead the club at the highest of levels. I look forward to celebrating our 50th anniversary as a club in 2025 and I hope everyone will come to celebrate with us Labor Day weekend of 2025.”

Originally from Sweden, Cecilia had the opportunity to stay with a NAC family and train with the team. She had the opportunity to swim with Tracy Caulkins and many other amazing NAC swimmers!
