GREEN GROUP

The Green Group is for elementary aged children that enjoy being in the water and want to try a new sport. Our goal is to introduce our beginner to intermediate swimmers to the fun of the sport of swimming. Swimmers will learn the fundamentals of all four competitive strokes, make friends and learn to become great teammates, and learn all of the proper swim meet procedures and what to expect at swim meets.

  • Ages: 6-8
  • 3 1-hour practices offered per week (No attendance requirements)
  • Practice Location: Centennial Sportsplex
  • Four sessions throughout the year with breaks in between (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer)

WHITE GROUP

At the White Group level, we want the kids to have fun, make friends, and learn the fundamentals of the sport of swimming. Our goal is to introduce the swimmers to the fun of competitive swimming and to teach them to correctly swim all four strokes.

The swimmers will learn all four competitive strokes while building strength and endurance through drills and repetition. There is a strong emphasis on teaching, skill development, fun, and connecting with teammates and coaches. We’ll use different technology such as video and in-water headsets to help teach and communicate with the swimmers while they’re swimming.

  • Ages: 7-9
  • 4 1-hour practices offered per week (No attendance requirements)
    • 1 20-minute dryland session offered per week
  • Practice Location: Centennial Sportsplex
  • 2 Seasons during the year (Sept-Feb) / (Mar-July)
