Congratulations to Meaghan Raab and Alex Walsh, who were selected as members of the 2017-2018 USA Swimming National Team. The National Team is made up of 115 athletes, and are selected if they are one of the fastest 6 athletes in the country in an Olympic Event.
Both Meaghan and Alex were selected as a result of their 200IM performances – Meaghan’s performance was her National Championship swim at the US Open, while Alex qualified with her 4th place finish at World Championship Trials.
Ella Nelson was also selected as member of the USA Swimming National Junior Team. Ella was selected for her performance in the 200 Breaststroke. She swam the 51st fastest time in the world this year in the 200 Breaststroke at the Junior World Championships this past August.
NAC Coaches John Morse and Doug Wharam were named as members of the National Team and National Junior Team coaching rosters.
