Five NAC athletes traveled to Long Island, New York for the 2017 US Open Championships, which took place August 1 – August 6, 2017. Highlighted by finals swims by Allie Raab, Meaghan Raab, and Gretchen Walsh, NAC had a strong showing. The full roster also consisted of Tim Raab and Mary Cayten Brakefield.
Meaghan Raab picked up two national championships – the 200 freestyle and the 200 individual medley. Allie Raab finished 8th in the 100 breaststroke, and Gretchen finished in 4th place in the 50 freestyle.
