NAC Athletes Dominant at US Nationals

Five NAC athletes traveled to Irvine, California for the USA Swimming Nationals held July 25-29, 2018.

Ella Nelson, Allie Raab, Meaghan Raab, Alex Walsh, and Gretchen Walsh put together an incredible week, with all four of the 18 and under athletes qualifying for the Junior Pan Pacific Championships taking place in Fiji at the end of August.

Gretchen Walsh took him an 18&Under National Championship in the 50Free, while Alex Walsh took him an 18&Under National Championship in the 200IM.

Ella Nelson finished in 7th Place in the 200 Breaststroke, punching her ticket to Fiji. Allie Raab finished in 14th place in the 200 Breaststroke and 18th place in the 200IM, punching a ticket to Fiji in both events. Meaghan Raab finished 13th in the 200 Free, and 17th in the 200IM. Alex Walsh swam 100% best times, and finished 9th in the 200 Back, 7th in the 50 Back, and 6th in the 200IM. Gretchen Walsh finished in 8th place in the 100Free, and 8th place in the 50Free.
