Five NAC ladies traveled to Greensboro, NC from December 5 through 8th to participate in the USA Swimming Junior National Championships – East.

ah Jyawook, Ella Nelson, Alex Walsh, and Gretchen Walsh put up incredible performances to help NAC bring home the women’s team championship!
The relay team of Lauren Hurt, Ella Nelson, Alex Walsh, and Gretchen Walsh combined to win 4 of the 5 relays, bringing home gold in the 200 Medley Relay, 800 Freestyle Relay, 400 Medley Relay, and 400 Freestyle Relay.
Alex Walsh brought home gold medals in the 200IM (new meet record), 100 Backstroke, and 200 Breaststroke (new meet record). Gretchen Walsh took home gold medals in the 50 Free (new national age group record) and 100 Free. Ella Nelson finaled in the 200IM (8th), 400IM (4th), 100 Breast (6th), and 200 Breast (3rd). Hannah Jyawook finished in 22nd place in the 500 Free.
