The Pancake Breakfast has become a bit of a NAC tradition. Typically once a season, the Board Members host the breakfast for all NAC athletes as a way to bring the swimmers together for team bonding, laughs and of course – the food! Swimming is tough work. The dedication of these athletes is something to be admired and the Pancake Breakfast is one way to show these athletes how proud we are of their efforts.

Chef Kenny Griffin, a NAC dad, takes pride in his pancakes. And it shows! For hours this past Saturday, Kenny was found flipping the pancakes – preparing enough pancakes for over 150 swimmers!  There was whipped cream, chocolate chips, a variety of fruit and of course syrup on hand for the swimmers to create their own masterpieces.  And some creations were pretty interesting!

The Pancake Breakfast is great way for the swimmers to unwind after a tough practice and just enjoy hanging with their friends. After all, that’s what it’s all about.  A big thank you to all that attended on Saturday. We look forward to seeing you at the next Pancake Breakfast!
